Size Guides

Proper fit is everything — especially on a motorcycle. Use the guides below to find your size across our range of helmets, riding gear, and apparel. Sizes vary between brands, so always check the specific chart for your category.

Pro tip: If you're between sizes, size up for riding gear (you'll want room for layers) and size down for helmets (the liner will break in and loosen slightly).

Size Charts

Helmets

How to Measure: Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your head about 1 inch above your eyebrows, keeping it level. Measure in centimeters for the most accurate fit.

General Helmet Sizing (Shoei, HJC, Bell, Biltwell, Ducati)

  • XS — 53–54 cm (20⅞"–21¼")
  • S — 55–56 cm (21⅝"–22")
  • M — 57–58 cm (22½"–22⅞")
  • L — 59–60 cm (23¼"–23⅝")
  • XL — 61–62 cm (24"–24⅜")
  • 2XL — 63–64 cm (24¾"–25¼")

Fit Notes: A new helmet should feel snug but not painful. The cheek pads and liner will compress roughly 15–20% over the first few weeks of riding. If it feels comfortable right out of the box, it's probably too loose. Shoei and HJC helmets tend to fit slightly different head shapes — visit us in Brea for a free fitting if you're unsure.

Riding Jackets

How to Measure: Measure your chest at the fullest point with arms relaxed at your sides. For jacket length, measure from the base of your neck to your waist.

EU / US Size Conversion (Triumph, Ducati, Royal Enfield)

  • EU 46 / US S — Chest 36"–37"
  • EU 48 / US M — Chest 38"–39"
  • EU 50 / US L — Chest 40"–41"
  • EU 52 / US XL — Chest 42"–43"
  • EU 54 / US 2XL — Chest 44"–45"
  • EU 56 / US 3XL — Chest 46"–47"

Troy Lee Designs / Alpinestars (US sizing)

  • S — Chest 36"–38"
  • M — Chest 38"–40"
  • L — Chest 41"–43"
  • XL — Chest 44"–46"
  • 2XL — Chest 47"–49"

Fit Notes: Riding jackets should be snug when standing — they'll ride up in the tuck position if too long. Leave room for a base layer, but avoid sizing up too much — a loose jacket lets armor shift out of position.

Riding Pants

How to Measure: Measure your natural waist (at the navel) and inseam (crotch to ankle bone).

EU / US Size Conversion

  • EU 44 / US 28 — Waist 28"–29"
  • EU 46 / US 30 — Waist 30"–31"
  • EU 48 / US 32 — Waist 32"–33"
  • EU 50 / US 34 — Waist 34"–35"
  • EU 52 / US 36 — Waist 36"–37"
  • EU 54 / US 38 — Waist 38"–39"

Fit Notes: Riding pants should sit comfortably at your waist while seated on the bike. Knee armor should align with your kneecap — if it rides above or below, try a different inseam length.

Gloves

How to Measure: Wrap a tape measure around your dominant hand at the widest point (across the knuckles, excluding the thumb). Make a loose fist and read the measurement in inches.

  • S / EU 8 — 7½"–8"
  • M / EU 9 — 8"–8½"
  • L / EU 10 — 8½"–9"
  • XL / EU 11 — 9"–9½"
  • 2XL / EU 12 — 9½"–10"

Fit Notes: Gloves should feel snug with no bunching in the fingertips. Leather gloves will stretch slightly with use — start tight. Textile gloves won't stretch, so go true to size.

Boots

How to Measure: Stand on a piece of paper, trace your foot, and measure the longest point in centimeters. Use the chart below to convert.

EU / US Size Conversion

  • EU 39 — US 6 (24.5 cm)
  • EU 40 — US 7 (25.5 cm)
  • EU 41 — US 8 (26 cm)
  • EU 42 — US 9 (27 cm)
  • EU 43 — US 10 (27.5 cm)
  • EU 44 — US 11 (28.5 cm)
  • EU 45 — US 12 (29 cm)
  • EU 46 — US 13 (30 cm)

Fit Notes: Your toes should not touch the front of the boot. Riding boots should be tight around the ankle and calf for support — they'll flex with wear. Break them in with short rides before a long trip.

Apparel (Shirts, Hoodies, Lifestyle Jackets)

How to Measure: Measure your chest at the fullest point with a flexible tape measure, keeping it level under your arms and across your shoulder blades.

Standard Sizing (Triumph, Ducati, Royal Enfield, Fasthouse apparel)

  • S — Chest 34"–36"
  • M — Chest 38"–40"
  • L — Chest 42"–44"
  • XL — Chest 46"–48"
  • 2XL — Chest 50"–52"
  • 3XL — Chest 54"–56"

Fit Notes: Most of our apparel runs true to standard US sizing. Triumph and Ducati branded apparel may run slightly slim in the fit — if you prefer a relaxed fit, consider sizing up.
