Contour-X Proto Helmet

The Proto graphic on Arai's Contour-X, in Red or Yellow. A communicator compatible full face with an outer shell that outlines a stylish, organic shape.

Logo duct

• The 3D Arai logo duct works well at low speed and with an upright riding position.
• A short-stroke lever placed at the top opens or closes it, and if the rider can't see that lever and the logo is in its normal place, the duct is open.

Rear spoiler

• The spoiler sits a little more forward on the shell and smooths airflow over and from the side of the helmet, reducing buffeting while overtaking at highway speeds for much less rider fatigue.
• Manufactured as thin and light as possible, it is designed to crush or break away upon impact.
• The sliding air-scoop chin vent has a replaceable filter and a thicker actuating mechanism that is easy to use with gloves.

Getting it on

• For newcomers to Arai, the shell flares 5 mm around the opening, making it easier to get the helmet on and off.

Intercom

• A small stitched opening on the inside of the neck roll allows the installer to tuck away any excess wiring left over after installing the speakers.
