Corsair-X Helmet

A full face Arai for street and adventure touring, with a PB-SNC² shell and the VAS mechanism for quick and simple shield removal.

Shell

• The PB-SNC² shell is created from super fiber and synthetic fibers for tensile strength with less weight.
• A smaller, lower VAS pivot cover and a smooth shell in the temple area increase the helmet's ability to glance off objects during an impact.

Shield

• The VAS Max Vision shield is standard, with a clear Pinlock® insert.
• The VAS mechanism incorporates a variable axis with a moving pivot point, so it opens and closes smoothly even with the lower mount position.
• A dual-function lever releases both the side cover and the pin for quick removal.
• The larger latch has a de-mist function and securely holds the shield closed to help prevent unexpected opening.

Airflow

• Diffuser Type 12 air intake vents have three positions and improved sealing, which decreases road noise and water intrusion.
• The IC Duct5 switch features three positions and limits water intrusion when fully closed.
• The chin curtain blocks turbulent air from the underside of the helmet and enhances the function of the chin vent by drawing more air from the mouth area.

Comfort

• The odor-resistant interior comfort liner is fully removable.
• Removable temple padding and a removable, replaceable crown pad allow a customized fit.
